Dear Stormi and Nick,
Your wedding venue was set over 15 years ago when you were 11 years old. Papa and I had just built a new home on a beautifully wooded lot, and you confidently stated that someday you were going to get married in our front yard. Fast forward 15 years and your dream is coming true today.
Many months of preparation, a bit of strife and uncertainty, has led to a day you will remember for the rest of your life. Your possibilities are endless as you share your life with your partner.
As you stand on the threshold of your future, remember that life is a complex mix of joyous and challenging days. Remember that tough times are not just obstacles but opportunities to become stronger, wiser and more resilient. And the joyful days will bring memories forever remembered.
I present this quilt to you today as a symbol of the love and the memories Papa and I have shared with you from infancy to the memories we will create with you today. There is love woven into every fiber and a hope that it will shield you during storms and add comfort on a quiet night. May it always remind you of where you have come from and the endless possibilities ahead.
